About Sunset Boulevard

Nicole Scherzinger returns to the West End this September, starring as the immortal Norma Desmond in a new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary Sunset Boulevard, directed by Jamie Lloyd.

This thrillingly atmospheric musical, featuring a mesmerising score including With One Look, The Perfect Year and As If We Never Said Goodbye, is reimagined by visionary director Jamie Lloyd for a new generation.

Haunted by her memories and dreams, movie star Norma Desmond (Scherzinger) yearns to return to the big screen. A struggling screenwriter may be her only hope, until their dangerous and compelling relationship leads to disastrous circumstances.

Drenched in champagne and cynicism, Sunset Boulevard scrutinizes ambition and the intoxicating need for fame and adoration.

Please note: At all Monday performances, Nicole Scherzinger will not be performing and the role of Norma Desmond will be played by Rachel Tucker.

Visionary directing, Outstanding lead, Unique production

See it if director Lloyd's b&w,spare,modern,video-heavy production & force-of-nature Scherzinger's performance breathe new life into this Webber work.

Don’t see it if you don't like minimalist productions, expect traditional costumes & sets. This is groundbreaking and bold Theater that's not for everyone.

Quirky, Must see, Intense, Great singing, Ambitious

See it if Scherzinger delivers a vocal performance for the ages in a stripped down production that makes Sunset feel better than it ever was.

Don’t see it if Not one for purists, this is a slick, contemporary staging that eschews realism in favor of mood and emotion.
